MMRA Announces 2025 Schedule

Michigan Motorsports Racing Association (MMRA), a premier Quarter Midget Racing facility in Clarktson, MI, has announced their schedule for the 2025 Season. The season kicks off with a Fun Race on May 3rd which allows drivers and those running the track to get a trial run in on everything before the competitive 9 race MMRA series gets rolling on May 4. The May 3rd date will also serve as a media day where drivers will take promotional photos for use throughout the season.

This year features dates for the Midwest Thunder Series which is a regional series of the NASCAR Youth Series on May 24 & 25. The Midwest Thunder Series brings the top drivers from the Midwest and throughout the country together in one of the most competitive quarter midget racing series in the US. The Quad City Racing Series also makes a stop at MMRA on May 17 which brings talented drivers from tracks in Kalamazoo, Lansing, Toledo and Clarkston/MMRA together in a 4 race points Series.

The 2025 MMRA season will be capped off with their annual Pumpkin Race on October 11 followed by the popular Red Plate race and Moms race on October 12th. The Pumpkin Race is an end of the year fun race with double length features. The Red Plate race places restrictors on the engines and allows drivers from all classes to compete one final time on the season, but all together at once. This race often has as many as 20 drivers on the 1/20th of a mile quarter midget track. Following that race, some of the race moms climb into their kids cars and battle it out on the track in a fun exciting event that ends with one mom having bragging rights for a full year.

As part of their effort to grow the sport and give young people the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a quarter midget race car, MMRA will offer 3 driver experience days in 2025 on June 8, August 24, and September 20. As the dates draw near, sign up forms will be available on their website at www.mmra25.com.
