2025 MMRA Race Procedure
Track Address: 4770 Waterford Rd., Clarkston, MI 48346
Track Gas: Speedway Gas 6594 Dixie Hwy., Clarkston, MI 48346 87 Octane required for competition.
Sign-Ins: 9:30 to 10:30AM
Parking: If you do not have an assigned location, please check with the tower first.

Race Day Schedule
Sign-ins: 9:30 to 10:30am
Handler or Driver must be at the track to sign-in (must physically check-in at tower if sign-ins are virtual).
Practice: 8:30-9:00am Rookie only open practice. Must have a flagger if more than 2 cars on the track.
9:00 to 11:00am All classes open practice. Must have a flagger if more than 2 cars on the track.
Driver and Handler Meeting: 11:30am All drivers and at least one handler per team must be present. This is also official MMRA club meeting and may transact club business.
Car Preparation Break: 30 minutes
Qualifying: Qualifying line-up determined by race day order and pill draw. You CANNOT go out after your slot, any car that misses the scheduled slot will receive no time.
Car Preparation Break: 30 minutes from time line-ups are posted
Heat Races: Line-up determined by race day order and qualifying time or pill draw.
Car Preparation Break: 30 minutes
Lower Mains: As needed, order by depth of class and race day order
Car Preparation Break: 60 minutes from time line-ups are posted
Feature Races: Line-up by race day order. National Anthem has flag driver randomly selected from a pool of all drivers or as determined by Event Chief. Feature class has track photos & driver introductions.
Schedule Exceptions:
Rain-outs/Cancellations: Race day will not be cancelled prior to the end of sign-ins unless by government mandate or due to hazardous conditions. Cancellation will be determined by the Board-of-Directors.
Any special features that are cancelled will be added to the next race day.
Cancellation Points: All sign-ins for any race classes that had not completed more than 50% of their feature race before cancellation will receive first place points if driver and car are present at time of cancellation.
Weather Delays: In the case of weather delay (i.e. rain, lightning, tornado warning, etc.) effort will be made to complete the day by abbreviated breaks or shortened races if necessary. Race day times or race format may be changed by the Event Chief at any time to attempt to complete the race day due to extraordinary conditions.
Fees:
Sign-ins: $25 per driver for each class
Transponder Rental: $5 per transponder, can be shared for the same driver. Trans X 160 transponders or equivalent are required.
Electrical Connection: $10 per race day or $50 for season. MMRA members get first selection, limited availability.
Parking: $50 per season reserved parking available for MMRA members. No fee for non-reserved parking.
Assistance: All families (not all family members) must volunteer to work during the race day to receive points for the event. If all volunteer spots are filled for the event, your family will be signed up for the following event. Sign-up will be available during sign-ins and coordinated at the driver and handler meeting. Training for race day positions will be counted as volunteering.
